Don't know how long it will last but, NRA is offering a Lifetime Membership for $300.

The phone number is 1-800-672-3888.

They're also offering an upgrade from Lifetime to Endowment for $250.  Same phone.

I signed up for the Lifetime membership in Feb for $300. Got my packet today.

What's the difference in Lifetime and Endowment?

Im not sure if they are still doing it but I was skeptical but it really worked. Pleasantly surprised!

I'm curious if anyone else who took advantage of this offer has received a response from the NRA.

I used the link posted above over six weeks ago. My Visa was charged $300, and I would have expected to receive some kind of conformation by now, but have not received any response, other than an initial email stating my Visa was charged.

Maybe it's because so many people are joining, their fulfillment department can't keep up!

Yes. I did it at the end of January, and I didn't receive my upgraded membership packet until March. However, my online membership status was upgraded about 2-3 weeks after I did it They are running pretty far behind on the mail packets but it will get there.

If you already had an annual membership like I did, try logging in on their website and check to see if your status has been updated to life member.

I did the same thing about 2 months ago.  There must be thousands of people joining on this promotion.  I just TODAY got all my life membership info, stickers and so forth.

Still haven't gotten mine. From what I undestand, the phone system was swamped for quite a while with people getting in on this offer.

Haven't heard a new membership total yet. Seems like 4.5 mil was last mentioned.

Thanks for the update. I have been an annual member for several years, so I'll check my status. I never log-in to NRA site, so I didn't think of doing that - D'oh!

Joined as lifetime. I don't love the NRA but it's a strong voice and potentially one of the very few we have. Thanks for the link!

Heads up - the $300 NRA Life Membership offer ends today, 5-10-2013, per Glenn Beck.

May be the last chance at this price...

Seems to me if I paid the $2000 and someone could get the same thing for $250 I'd be pretty upset ...

I was hesitant to reply - not wanting to upset anyone (  :foot: )   but I did upgrade from Lifetime to Endowment and yes, it took quite a while to get my info too.  Sent it off end of March, and received info end of April.  "They" (and no I don't know who "they" are) said Lifer's upgrades were first, then Annual's next, then noobies.  And of course there are TON'S AND TON'S to be processed.

Bottom line - I think it's a great way to make the NRA, a strong and very vocal advocate for all of us even stronger.

P.S.  If if makes a difference, I paid every cent :2cents: to get my Lifetime - took me years to do it, but I'm proud to have earned it!

AND, I'm hoping Beck's wrong that they are still going to continue - anyone have any followup info?
