FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Officers at Cane Ridge High School this morning arrested a 17-year-old student for having a loaded .22 caliber semi-automatic pistol in his parked car on campus.

The 9th grader entered the building this morning smelling of marijuana and was pulled out of class by an assistant principal. An administrative search was performed of both the student and his car. The gun was located in a pocket at the rear of the driver’s seat.

The 17-year-old claimed he did not know the gun was in the vehicle.

Information above came in a release from the MNPD -South Precinct

The student population in the Antioch area schools is largely black and Hispanic from what I've seen.  There aren't many Jethro Bodines running around that part of town.

Um where did he get the .22 ammo?

hahahahahahaha

I knew someone was gonna ask this! LOL

I don't know anything about the area.  My response was based on the students age and grade, not his race.

I doubt that he gets punished adequately. It was the gun's fault.

It's always the gun.  They don't know how to behave.

It must only be the ones that get bored - I exercise mine regularly and have never had any of these problems.

Yeah, they are like dogs. They must have an outlet to expend all of that energy.
