I got a $1 coupon at J Floyds as well. I too don't know exactly where the fair grounds are. Directions would be a great help. I will be coming from the interstate toward Sevierville. I think turn right at the light at the bridge, then where?

Sevier County Fairgrounds are on Old Knoxville Highway, just off main drag on Knoxville side of 411/441/W.Main (which is Chapman Hwy to Knoxville).

Left at the light just before center of town if you were coming Chapman from Knoxville.

Traffic's even worse down there on July weekends (I guess, maybe the economy has affected it, haven't been down there since March.

If you were coming Interstate/Winfield Dunn, better to go right before town at the new cut/bridge from Winfield Dunn to the new Events Center is better, then left on Old Knox.

Not a huge area, sits there between Old Knox Hwy and Winfield Dunn (sort of behind Lowe's/Kroger.

If I were going there from Knoxville on weekend, I'd take Chapman to left on Boyd's Creek (308, center of Seymour), then right on Old Knoxville Hwy short of Winfield Dunn and go in that way, past Eagle's Landing G.C. and Events center.

Thanks to all for posting the directions.

If you take Chapman Hwy. south from Knoxville or Seymour it becomes East Main St.

Turn left at the light just before the Pigeon River bridge. That's Old Knoxville Hwy.

It follows the river. Go a few blocks north and the Fairgrounds are on the right.

I plan to go Sat. around 10am.

Just to nitpick, it's WEST Main on that side of the main intersection (and actually W Main for one block on the other side too, just to make it more confusing :)

Yes go across the big new bridge, take the first left, and it will be a little way on your left. You might see some milk trucks parked and if you pass them you went to far. I hope it isnt a big mudd hole like last time. I also hope there are more than three dealers this time!!! I work the c-stores in Sevierville, Pigeon Forge and the Burg and have seen the dollar off coupons in quite a few of them.

Well I went to the show today. Lets just say I wasn't too impressed. My son asked me "what are we doing at a flea market?" There were a few vendors there with some guns, but seemed mostly like knives and old military equipment. The good news is that it only cost me $5 for the two of us to get in. I went to try and get a holster and mag extension but unfortunately neither was there. If you are into cowboy western stuff, it would be worth the trip otherwise, just take the wife to Tanger outlet and suffer through that, then go get a good meal and be happy! Hopefully in the future they can get more vendors to commit and really put on a good show. Maybe they can get the show into the new convention center and that would be great!

Well it was a little bigger than the last show and a little warmer. I did see a guy with a Browming 9mm that I should have taken home but.......

I have been to better and worse shows, hopefully it will continue to grow, the more shows the better.:P

Well, speaking as someone who just escaped the clutches of Kalifornistan, that gun show was... disappointing. I think the ones out west were bigger, but in a much less gun-friendly state. Of course, on the flip side, I think the Sevierville show had more actual firearms, but some of the random vendors that show up are half the fun.

Please tell me the Knoxville shows are better?

The Knoxville shows are better.

Especially the shows at the Merchants Expo Center. Same promoter does the TN Valley Fairgrounds shows, but the Expo shows rock in comparison.

Hello from another Kali refugee (here 9 years).

I used to sell guns at the Cow Palace. Nothing that big here, but Knoxville has more vendors. This one had some local sellers.

Next one is in Knoxville at the Expo Center August 9-10. I'll be there Sunday morning 9 to whenever.
