Does kmart still sell any guns/ammo? Aren't there a handful of kmarts left? Is there still one on nolensville/harding? Man they used to sell everything big time wow like 20 years ago.

I live in Marion County and a few years ago a guy went into Walmart and bought a .22 and a box of shells, then went to his car and shot himself in the parking lot.

But, they still sell everything, including AR's.  I even noticed they have started carrying more AR accessories, and had a new in-store advertisement with a huge pic. of an AR, showing all the stuff they carried for it.

It is interesting how different companies respond to the media and culture.

Pretty sure K-Mart had a murder or some such in one of their parking lots with a gun that was just sold which ended their gun sales.

Columbine and Bowling for Columbine was impetus for them dropping the guns and rifle/pistol ammo.

There are several Kmarts in the Knoxville area that sells ammo. Pretty much limited to 22 and shotgun but they do sell it.

That was true of the one in Sweetwater (well, the shotgun ammo, anyhow) until recently.  The last time I was in there, however (a couple of weeks ago) they had none and it was very obvious that they no longer had any shelf space set aside for it.  They had also gotten rid of the checkout counter that used to be in their sporting goods area.

News to me, really. Like, the Big K stores I guess? Where is one, Broadway maybe? (it's the only one I can think of right off)

Unless you want air soft stuff don't even bother going there. I just hope the new Walmart going in actually carry stuff, it's not going to be a full store from what I hear.
