All I have to do is look at my daughter and that leaves no doubts.  However i completely agree with his beliefs that a day wasnt a day and a year wasnt a year as we know it.  Noah died at over 700 years old..... that was always my reasoning behind the belief.

Nice find thanks for sharing

The tellers of the story had to put it out so people of that time would understand.

I do believe as well.

Very good article. I don't worry too much about the how of Gods work I try to focus more on the why of Gods work. I figure God can run His creation anyway He wants to so as I read the Bible I focus on why is He doing what He's doing, what is He trying to teach me, and am I responding the way He wants me to.

It's not so important as to how long it took God to create this world, but that I know it was God who created this world. We don't understand a frame of time like God does, and our minds cannot think or conceive what God is able to do. Most people think that man's life span is a long time, but I know that life has gone by very quickly for me looking back and reflecting. I'm ready to meet my maker.

I believe too!

The Bible is infallible and is the inerrant word of God.  Abraham's God that is!  It was written by men, but inspired by God.  The King James version may not be written in the original languages of the Bible, but I studied in government funded college literature, the history and development of the King James translation, that in itself was astonishing, and removes any doubt in my mind that maybe we have errors in the translation.

Don't take my word for it, if you will just carefully study the science of the bible, and its history, understand how it is a collection of individual books, from vast time periods.  Then stand back, and understand how the birth and death of Jesus was for told centuries before his actual birth, is astonishing.  Its not written to vaguely to make it fit.  You either accept that He was God in the flesh, or he was a liar, a conman, which makes him the biggest scam in mankind.

As for as the age of the Earth, I don't why God created the earth that appears to a human mind to be billions of years of old, but I do know its in our nature to have concrete evidence.  Do you suppose if we did uncover concrete evidence, and we penned it down what we found, 1,000 years from now, would society doubt us too?

Finally, as for me, I had a life changing experience 100% tied to the Bible.  I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior.  I would never go back to the life that I had before.  I still make mistakes, but what happened 2,000 years or so ago today (Easter), makes my mistakes invisible to God.  Its as simple as John 3:16.
