Anyone going to Gallatin Gun Club today?

I am a member. The benches are covered, so unless your targets can't get wet, the rain isn't usually a big deal. I plan on plinking the steel plates more than anything.

Had a good time with 221 Fireball and ItchyTriggerFinger at GGC. There was one guy there when I showed up, and he was leaving as Fireball, Itchy and a couple other guys showed up. Other than that, we had the place to ourselves.

 

Thanks to 221 Fireball, I can now say that I've shot a Garand. Yep, for the first time. Now I want one even more. The only thing I brought was the new AR, so I didn't stick around too long after they went to the pistol area. The rain wasn't too bad, and it sure as heck beat sitting around the house. The closest family I have is 450-500 miles away, so I didn't have any Easter festivities to attend.

Yeah, it was actually nice out today.  We wrapped up around 3:30 and were the only ones there.  Of course that's when the rain stopped :)
