Same biz model as in 2008-9. Must've worked okay, so will probably work okay this time too.

Old joke:

Guy asks street vendor, "how much are your hotdogs?"

Vendor: "$250,000 dollars"

Guy: "Jeez, just how many do you expect to sell at that price?"

Vendor: "Dunno, but don't need to sell very many".

I love how it says "our low price" next to it.

I wonder how many boxes they will sell at this price.

Sadly, I'm guessing a bunch.

Gangbangers will gladly pay that much. Gotta have something for the "glock-glock".

Cheaper Than D!ck, --whatever. Oh, wait, and now Glen Beck endorses them too... wonder how much that cost them? Maybe they're paying him in .22LR bricks??

No thanks. Have a nice life, CTD. You won't ever have to worry about filling an order for me ever again.

Ever.

Wow. CTD pi$$es me off so much that even my non-sequitur rant has non-sequiturs.

been buying from them for years.  Since way back when they sold milsurp supplies by mail order.

The price is what the market will bear.   How good of a business model is that?  Capitalism might be the term.

If you don't like it don't buy. I ain't buying it. But when I need and they have the best price I buy.

A bunch, unfortunately. CTD is on my permanent ban list. But, I didn't get caught with my pants down either. If I was slap out of ammo, and that was all I could find, I would pay it. Nothing more useless than an empty gun :)

A friend of mine who works from home keeps an eye on several internet sites for ammo at good prices. In the last 3 weeks he has scored for me 500 rounds of American Eagle 9mm 124 grain FMJ at $0.36 per round ($18/50 rnd box) and another 500 rounds of Winchester 9mm 115 grain FMJ at $0.33 per round in 100 round loose pack boxes (both including the shipping charges). My point being that if you're patient and have the time to shop around you will probably come up with some good deals.

I have bought a couple of firearms from them. They we're the cheapest by a long shot.

They were the place to go to for surplus ammo in the day. I won't be buying ammo any time soon

from them. But they do carry  lot of unusual stuff.

I agree with your point, but in most cases the average person isn't shackled to a computer or free to stand in a line at Walmart every morning. We are stuck doing without, waiting this craziness out, or paying too much.

Wow, if that's their Low price I'd hate to see their high one. Guess the dirt must have gold dust in it or something because that sure ain't very cheap dirt.
I learned to handload when I was 19 years old and I've never had to be a slave to Factory ammo since. Long as I can get primers, powder and bullets(and sometimes I cast my own to save even more) I can load up some ammo to go play with and it doesn't cost near as much as the factory crap I've seen lately. I'd take the Pepsi Challenge with my handloaded ammo any day of the week against WWB, UMC or Federal Eagle.

Yeah, but you can get hollow points for half the price they are selling FMJ for.
