North Korea Propaganda with antique tanks

Recommended Posts

North Korea just released another "Destroy the US" propaganda film. Nice film, but they are not getting shot at, something Kim, Jung Lardazz needs to realize! It's good for a laugh anyways.

This video must have been made back when they had extra ammo and rockets to waste. The guys with the flags are worth extra points when "dropped" right?

Kim Jong III reminds me of the young bull watching as the huge breeder bull is being unloaded. He starts snorting, bellowing, pawing at the ground and drooling at the mouth. One of his peers looks at him and says "Hey...are you crazy?....he's gonna come up here and kick yer ass!" "that's fine with me!" says the young bull......."I just want to make sure he knows I'm a BULL..!!! Edited by Randall53

Anyone found a translated version yet? Curious as to what it says. Love the mock up tanks the troops run by while running up the hill...
Anyone ever wonder if this "North Korea Propaganda" is actually "anti North Korea Propaganda"?

One of the great things about having freedom of the press and the ability to say whatever you want is that the gov can't keep secrets very well. If we could go more than a week without a major leak that gives someone in Washington a black eye or compromises a CIA asset or source I'll start believing our government is capable of such a vast conspiracy as to generate false propaganda without a single actor, director, producer, A/V nerd or linguist to come forward and spill the beans in a book or tell-all interview which they are sure to receive tons of cash. Then again I know folks who think the moon landing was a fake and George Bush is a reptilian alien. Whatever make ya edgy I guess. Edited by TMF

I spent 2 tours on the DMZ in Korea. There is an extensive (this is not classified) mine field 200+ meters wide that will have to be crossed. All them zipperheads running up that hill won't get far. They'll only die tired and hungry!

This version was released raw to the news. I'll try to find a translated version.

SEOUL: North Korea posted a new propaganda video on Friday, showing paratroopers descending on Seoul in an invasion scenario that envisages taking around 150,000 US residents in South Korea hostage.

The four-minute video, titled "A Short, Three-Day War", begins with images of a massive artillery and rocket barrage, followed by a large-scale land and air assault with North Korean troops streaming over the border.

A male narrator then describes how "crack stormtroops will occupy Seoul and other cities and take 150,000 US citizens as hostages."

The video was posted on the North's official website, Uriminzokkiri, which distributes news and propaganda from the state media.

It comes at a time of escalating tensions on the Korean peninsula, with multiple threats from North Korea of an armed response to joint South Korea-US military drills and to UN sanctions imposed after its nuclear test last month.

On Thursday, the North Korean military threatened strikes on US military bases in Japan and Guam.

The narrator describes different stages of the invasion, including the destruction of forces under the US Pacific Command with "powerful weapons of mass destruction".

The video showed footage of paratroopers jumping from the sky superimposed over an aerial shot of the South Korean capital, with North Korean military helicopters hovering overhead.

The airborne troops would engage South Korean soldiers in the streets of Seoul, as 4,000 tanks and 3,000 armoured vehicles sweep across the border and race to the capital, the narrator said.

According to official immigration figures, South Korea has a US expatriate population of more than 130,000, as well as 28,000 US troops based in the country.

On the third day of the proposed invasion, the narrator said Seoul and other cities would be in a state of total chaos, with no food or water supplies, and no communications network.

At this point, the Korean People's Army would step in to "stabilise" the situation.

"Like this, we have a Unification War scenario that will be wrapped up in just three days," the narrator said.

The video was the latest in a line of similarly-themed productions posted to the Uriminzokkiri channel.

An offering early last month showed New York in flames after an apparent missile attack, and another two weeks later depicted US soldiers and President Barack Obama burning in the flames of a nuclear blast.

And earlier this week, another video showed the dome of the US Capitol building in Washington exploding in a fireball.

Since the UN Security Council tightened sanctions on North Korea over its February nuclear test, Pyongyang has issued a range of apocalyptic threats including "pre-emptive" nuclear strikes on South Korea and the United States.

It also announced it was scrapping the armistice that ended the 1950-53 Korean War, but its rhetoric has yet to be matched by any overt military action.

All that jibberish in one nut shell.

Is it just me or does this sabre rattling seem to be a pathetic look at me cry from the North Koreans?

Eventually they will need to be dealth with.

Of course since they are starving they might not be that strong of an adversary.

I still say green radioacive glass is a good color for North Korea.

Do not discount the NORK military as worthless. This propaganda is not aimed at us, it's aimed at their own people to try to whip them up into supporting an attack on South Korea and the US.

North Korea has been planning for an attack on the South for 60 years. They have the largest concentration of artillery in the world on the DMZ. The anti-aircraft armament on the DMZ is equally dense. While very little of it is state-of-the-art, the quantity makes it possible that SK and US ground-support aircraft would be largely incapacitated within 10 miles of the DMZ.

The NORK strategy is to get their military inextricably integrated with civilians in the South, believing that SK and US forces will be reluctant to fire on NORK troops when there is a danger of hitting civilians.

Most of that 200-yard minefield belongs to the NORKs. I'll bet that they have lanes through it. I'll also bet that they are planning to blast huge lanes through it, and not worry about the minor casualties they will take from the remaining mines.

I take this threat very seriously. And the South Koreans and US Army are taking it seriously too.

Hmm. Looks like its time they want food aid, again? Possibly. New kid wants to look strong? Probably. New government (old one with a new figurehead) wants to show their population they are strong? Yes.

You know, part of almost wishes they would try, so all this crap would come to an end.

No kidding. Pull our troops out of South Korea and let the Chinese deal with it. They're about as sick of them as we are.

After that simply ban all Chinese imports to this country, put people back to work and buy American.

All it will take is one EMP to really screw us. NK has nothing really to lose as they aren't as advanced and dependent on electronics as SK or the US.
