Got a few new ones

I had bought a small Sebenza off a guy a couple weeks ago but it wasn't in as good of shape as it looked in the pics so I returned it. I decided to buy a couple other knives I had been wanting instead of just the Sebenza. I had already got the camo/black Spyderco PM2 and liked it so much I hunted down a black/satin to go with it. I think I'm going to get a set of scales made for the black one. I'd been wanting a Benchmade mini grip so I got the black 556. Great carry knife so I decided to try the 555HG. I LOVE the sheepsfoot blade on the thing. So, of course, now I want the fullsize 550 griptilian or maybe a Rift. Stupid knives....they're mulitplying like rabbits around here.

Just so you know, you could have sent that Sebbie back to Chris Reeves and they could have done the spa treatment on it and made it look brand new,

myself anyway I would not trade a Sebbie for all four of those knives, but I love Chris Reeve knives

Thought about it but by the time I had the blade and handle refinished + shipping both ways I'd be close to the price of a new one. It's a great service to offer to owners though. They do look like new when they come back.

I need to slow down on the knife buying. I decided to order a new Sebenza that will be here next week. I also got a fixed blade from a knifemaker in NC. 1095, green micarta, 4 inch blade, hand stiched and dyed sheath.

A buddy I play golf with called last night. He's a gun and knife guy too so we always ask each other "what have you bought lately?" I told him I'd picked up a few new knives and had a Sebenza showing up in a couple days. He said he'd picked up a small off a guy at a gun show. I told him if he was out to run by with it. He came by this morning. After telling a few lies to each other he handed me his $200 Sebenza. I hated to tell him the bad news. I've only seen one other fake in person and I'm no expert but this one looks a lot closer to the real thing than they used to. Quality wise, I've got a $10 SRM that's smoother.

A few bad cell phone pics.

See if you can find out who he bought it from, I have found at least 6 sellers on Ebay ripping CRK off and I report them

I told him to try and remember or find out who the guy is and let me know. He said the guy wasn't selling at a table. He was walking around outside when my friend ran into him.
