Especially the ones that go out and eat a lobster lunch with Pharoh on the tax payer's dime while admonishing one of their own for filibustering. The Republicans eat their own while the democrats circle the wagons. The move to socialism is not pretty.

The gun grabbers have already stated time and time again that their main objective this time around is the "universal background checks". These people are on record saying it. They have a good reason too. It is a step towards registration. First they get the background checks passed, then another couple mass shootings happen. Then they say "those universal background checks ain't working, we need full registration". Then it is game over. With the "universal background checks", the Democrats in the Senate want records kept of every single transaction/transfer that is done. That is as close to registration as you can get without actually calling it registration.

Feinstein got her first ban passed in 1994 by bringing it to the floor as an amendment. She just said yesterday that she plans to do it again. It is not over folks.

Yep, the AWB and the mag limit will be offered as separate amendments to whatever he bill turns into. Can't quite grok what the bill will actually be, since those were the only two things in it, along with all the provisions for enforcing them.

 

The background check thing is already in committee as a stand alone, or at least one is, dunno if that's gonna be THE one.

I was talking to the owner of the company I work for today, we talked about

Obamacare and the cost of it, he is scared of what is coming in 2014.

The cost is gona be high.

 

No doubt 2014 is gonna be a shocker.  Think about this:  with the 2014 mandate of pay-or-play for employees with 30+ hours average, more employers are going to hire 'part-time' staff instead of full-time workers.  Gonna pad the employment numbers as far as bodies at work for the Obama administration so he'll claim a 'victory' for the poor, huddled masses; but the reality is that more people will be underemployed and be hand-to-mouth.  I think it's a shrewd left move to make more and more people dependent on the government dole, crush the middle class and further create a nanny state.

One of  the most spot on post I have read in a while.  Establishment Republicans intend to sell us out, and do it this year.  Watch Cantor especially, and that traitor Boehner.
