Feinstein's Gun Ban Bill Facing Defeat

Recommended Posts

I won't be fully satisfied until I know it's completely dead, but this is pretty much what I expected and it is good news. I don't think the majority of politicians expected the fierce backlash they've gotten over all this. I'm waiting to see what happens in Colorado. I hope they run everyone who voted for that bill out of office.

Thanks to overwhelming opposition, the wheels are coming off the AWB juggernaut.

Told ya Reid probably wouldn't go out on a limb for it.

There's already a separate "universal" background check bill in committee. That one or one like it will get legs.

Amen to that, its not looking promising in CO, glad to see all the opposition to it, too bad the Gov isn't paying any attention to the majority.

The funny thing here is they were banking on the Feinstein's bill to make it to the floor.  Now that it wont they will look like fools.  Magpul will be pulling shop starting immediately to move to multiple states and set up unless they change their minds to go with a single state.  This will backfire on CO.

I think it already has. I heard something on the radio, yesterday, about Sheriffs in Colorado standing against it.

don't have a link, though. That governor and some legislators may lose their seats over this. There are still enough

sane people in Colorado to turn it around. They don't all live in South Park, yet. :D

One CO SENATOR said he wouldn't obey the new law... on TV. Since our Republican brothers are too stupid to win many elections, maybe all these over-the-top Democrats will win the elections for them.

And BTW... I'm really glad that Feinstein's bill is getting laughed off the floor. She deserves it.

That is pretty awesome. In my opinion, this is what all gun owners in NY and CO should be saying right now and acting on in large groups.

I meant not looking to promising for our side. But after re-reading my post, I see how you thought I meant it.

Paired with actual civil disobedience. Folks should rally in large groups with the very items that will be banned.

Does this mean the craziness will calm down a bit and I can find some ammo in the stores at a normal price?

Those sorry SOB's aren't done threatening us yet.

We're in an all out fight with these commies till we win or our republic ceases to exist. You just can't tip toe through the tulips with these Libtard commies, and expect everything to be rosy b/c you will awake one morning to find yourself enslaved to their idea of utopia. I would rather peck s#** with the chickens than live as one of these dumba** commies. Time for everyone to grow a backbone and ready yourselves for this fight for freedom.

There's too many retired californians in Colorado.  The economy was pretty bad until the ski areas started bringing in the rich...and those guys don't want the people to be able to fight back,  This is going to be about the money.  Magpul doesn't have enough clout to worry the money people.

I will tell you what would grab attention more so than sheriffs or senators not complying.   That would be Peyton Manning coming out and saying what BS it is.

People are all about celebrities and sports stars.  He would make an impact.

Whether or not he thinks it is BS I don't know.

That's true but Bruce Willis has voiced his opinions in favor of the 2nd Amendment and that doesn't seem to have done much. At least not that I can tell. But Americans in general do seem to be all about football so maybe Peyton would have more of an effect.
