I wondered if anybody has seen any turkeys? Season opens this month and I can't be the only one that can't wait. I saw 4 gobblers strutting in a field yesterday.

A friend saw two hens in the middle of the road on the ridge above my house last week.  I personally saw a flock of 20-30 birds alongside US11 in Bradley county a couple of weeks ago.

Got a flock of 30-40 and another of 10-15 in the back woods and fields. Sat morning the gobbles were heard all around like surround sound. Just passed my hunter education Saturday and will be putting it to use in a couple of weeks.

I saw 10 or so crossing the road just outside of Marrowbone Lake on Sunday.

I heard a few that afternoon on the private land I am going to be hunting.

My Brother-in-Law has been seeing them up near Pegram

saw about thirty of them in the hayfield behind the house yesterday.   Some of the males were fanned out, very cool looking.

A month or so ago the wife & I seen a gaggle of at least 50 in the field across our road. A few days before that we had 30+ in our back field. Prior to this had never seen so many in a group at one time, is that normal?

Here lately been seeing a pair of hens in the farm field about every other day. Strange, because at times I'll go months without seeing any at all.

Never turkey hunted but, starting to get an itch to try it.

Been seeing groups between 20-60 out at our place. Come turkey season I'm sure they will all disappear. Haha

I saw a flock of about 50 by a pond on Lead Mine Road on the way to the Cleveland range last week.  Toms were strutting their stuff and it makes me try to remember to put a camera in the truck.  This is the third time I have seen such a large group out there.

Saw some on Hwy 58 on the power line cut through. I believe it's gov't or TVA property though.

My son and I went out at sunset to scout for Roosts.
Went up to a ridge above where I had seen a few turkey last Thursday....heard a branch crack over our heads and a few seconds later a LARGE Turkey flew away.
BUMMER.

we went about 100 yards away and set up a blind overlooking a clearing.
I won't get out until about 8:30...we'll see!
