Buck 124 Limited Edition

Recommended Posts

Well,
We just got back from our vacation in the Smoky Mountains, we spent a week in an awesome cabin secluded in the woods. Lucily we missed the fires. On the way I got the pleasure of meeting Major Kong, he and I did a trade and I now have his Sebenza 25 and a Rolex Submariner and he has my Nighthawk 1911 and my Yuna custom knife, thanks again Fred I am very happy with the trade and Yun has me in line to build me another exactly like that one so life is good!

We always stop at the Smoky Mountain knife works every time we are up that way. This time I had no intention of buying any knifes but I saw something in the display case that caught my eye. I bought a large fixed blade Buck 124 Limited Edition. It is a gorgeous knife that caught my eye the moment I walked in the store. For $143.00 out the door this is an awesome knife. I have owned several folding Bucks but this is my first fixed blade model.

My father worked for Buck knife when I was a child and we lived in El Cajon California, it is nice to see the company still makes their knifes in the USA and I am very impressed with the quality of the 124. I am truly amazed at just how nice this knife is for the money, I will post some pictures when I get the chance!

Yeah, it is a very nice knife for the money.

By the way, we never saw many pictures of the Yuna.  It is your responsibility now Fred to post some of the porn so we can all see.  :)  How long is it going to be before he starts on your new one?  Next year?

Buck reintroduced the 124 last year, they were/are nice knives.Always wanted one and one day found one at a pawn shop. The butt was dinged up bad and the blade was scratched all to hell.Sent it back to Buck along with a small fee to cover return shipping and a few weeks later it came back looking almost brand new. They polished out all the blade scratches and restored the butt to about 95%.Lifetime warrenty means just that,no matter if you are the original owner or not.
