I've always assumed that all Presidents had some sort of safeguards in place when he is served food. I don't know what those safeguards are, but having someone else eat some first doesn't seem all that strange. Although, I'm not sure I'd want to be that guinea pig.

I doubt it. Some people would be happy, but the people who run things in this country would start a war with another small oil producing country or North Korea to keep the machine running. Some people are too consumed with Obama for various reasons. He is only a small part of the problem.

Excess comes with the position. Even if a president wanted to come off as a conservative, simple living common man he couldn't because protocol and security call for certain excesses. Our president won't be driving a 1974 Ford pickup to a meeting. Our president won't be drinking julip from mason jars, and he won't being eating anyones grandmas possum stew without his taster even if the only side effects of grandmas stew is that uncle Earls eyes twitch a little after eating it. Get Real!

That is why I will NEVER vote for another encumbent as long as I feel my representative is not representing me. If that requires a vote for a Democrat, Republican or Independent so be it. I would rather take a chance on someone I do not know than vote for someone who has proven to put themselves ahead of me or my country.

Obama is the steam behind the Liberal train. They feel invincible because of him and the past 2 wins against the odds. He came out of nowhere, was black and won because of the novelty, the black and minority vote as well as the white "I want to make history" stupid voters that looked like a red shirt at a Mormons meeting in Washington during the 2008 Inauguration. He won the second term for much the same reason, even though he had done nothing for the country in ANY capacity, (Other than hang the Albatross "Obamacare" around our necks)  nor for those that voted for him (too blind to see the 15% black unemployment, Besides, the preacher said to vote for him) AGAIN. Couple this with the stupid conservative voters that stayed home because they "didn't like Romney" voter.  I mean hell, vote Obama OUT and regroup in 2016!!!!  NO...we had to sit on our asses and let the liberals win again!  Thus, we now have the "invincible" feeling the left is enjoying that I first mentioned. If the Liberal baby kill'n; freedom hating bunch of dweebs (and everything else ThePunisher said) had NOT won the second term, we would NOT be in this battle over the 2nd amendment.  Plain and simple.  The Liberal DWEEBS feel that they have 2014 in the bag because of Obama and the confidence they feel because of him!!  That's why they don't give a rat's shiny red butt  what anyone thinks, they can run whatever they want up the flagpole and it will fly.
