I guess my in-Glock-trination is over...

I have been through so many different handguns. The last 8 (?) years or so, it's just been Glock. They just made sense.

Well, the grass IS greener, and it's not necesarily over a septic tank. Between the return of the CZ 75 Compact to my stable (ah, the heft of a real gun... man, I missed that), and the light in the polymer tunnel with "Walther PPQ" on it...

There are better choices. I know; I can't even believe I'm sayin' that.

There are many guns. Each is not ideal for every man.

That's why we strive for one of each... :)

I bought a CZ because everyone on the internet convinced me CZ's are the most underrated guns on the market.....Big mistake. It looked pretty and felt amazing in my hand but none of that matters if the gun can't go through a 10 round mag without jamming. This was the 40P.

Maybe someday I'll try the legendary CZ75.

I have heard nothing bad good things about the PPQ though.

I'm thinking it will have Walther stamped on it somewhere :)

I believe you might be right in that assuption.

Maybe all these 9mm Glock mags I have nothing for...

Huh? Ok, that might get me too.

But, after all the time spent getting the Glocks and the Walthers, I just can't believe you'd part with any of either one.

And now you're on the CZ train? Fickle, fickled old man. Soon you'll be as bad as me. :stunned:

Started out with Taurus, went to Springfields. Then into the Smith revolvers. (But must admit I'd been trying for them all along anyway, just couldn't afford them.) Got bit by Glocks. Then the 1911 virus hit me. From there it was all downhill. Sigs. Walthers. And now the M&P bacterium has attacked! Pray that no other gun bug rears its ugly head.

I don't know......If I was told I had to go into the baddest part of town with only one handgun on me.  I'd would not hesitate.  I'd grab my Glock 34 with all the 17 rounds mags I could carry loaded to the gills with Hydra shok.  I've never had a hiccup with either one.

And that's a good thing. This is not a Glock bashing thread.

Everyone gets the itch for something different every now and then.

The new will wear of soon enough and their true colors will shine through.

Then you will realize the error of your ways and come crawling back begging for forgiveness.

I give it 4 or 5 range trips tops.

It is interesting how one wanders through all the choices out there. I currently find myself adding a few wheel guns to the stable and I'm having a craving for a new Sig.
Go figure...

Ah yes....the old wheel gun. I have a few,  S&W mostly, with 1 newer (bought last year) 642 Prelock.  Awesome shooters. I carry the 642 pretty much at times in warm weather.  Hides really well in cargo shorts. A good one for the lake too while fishing.

I love Glock, but as they say variety is the spice of life. I want a sig p220, and a sig p228/m11a1 so bad I can taste it. But I still would not get rid of my Glocks.

Same sentiments, except I would grab the Glock 20 and be ready for man OR beast

I had the CZ bug years back, much like bad gas it passed.

Well, if the PPQ trips continue to be like this:

... crawling back ain't happening.

And now you're on the CZ train?

I was on the CZ train years ago. Sold them when I got the Glock bug because they were just soooo heavy in comparison. Over time, I regretted getting rid of the Compact. It was, up to that time, the one gun I shot best with. Now, thanks to fate, it's been replaced, and I am most thankful. I won't let this one go.
