Prices coming down?

Is it just me or do the prices on the used market for semi-autos seem to be coming down? Now, as for ammo availability...that doesn't seem to have leveled off yet. Still can't believe the run on .22LR...

I say due to the ammo problem, who wants to buy a gun that you can not buy ammo for.  Basic supply and demand, over supply and no demand.

I think they are coming down, saw an ad on Armslist for Bushmasters NIB over in Cleveland Tn for 899. Think it was a gun store

I do not think we're even close to seeing the end of this. I'm thinking it could be a year or more before prices come down and they may never go back to "normal".

It does help lower the pricing of guns when Fox news is reporting that Assault weapons ban appears to be dead.  Still may have some risk of high capacity magainzes, but the bill killing the so called assult weapons is dead as per commentary on Fox news this week.  I look for the ARs and the alike to be plentiful real soon.

I was in Academy today helping a friend who is in the market for a pistol. I looked over and saw a guy fondling an AR. It was like seeing a unicorn since it seems so long ago that I'd seen an AR in one of their stores. They got 30 in yesterday. Specialty Arms also has racks full of AR's. So I agree, guns are not the problem it seems. Ammo situation still pi$$es me off!!

Prices are coming down and guns are sitting on the shelves longer. I've been in a few local shops, and no one seems to be fighting over reasonably priced ARs and AKs.

It does seem that ARs and many new (modern) arms pricing may be deflating just a little.  Older, collectible type pieces appear to continually increase.

Seems we're mostly in agreement. Word to the wise though, we're only 1 Adam Lanza scumbag situation away from wobbly kneed politicians, including RINOs, caving in and selling the 2nd Amendment out.

My $0.02 is that all who can manage to do so should stock up now if they haven't already.
