I've been using mil comm tw 25b and like it. Outpost armory stocks it.

Of all that I have tried I like this the best. Montana Extreme is good too, but it stinks and that's a deal breaker for me.

I use Lubriplate 130A but any white lithium grease will likley work.  I saw a squeeze tube of Lubriplate at the local tool store that would last the rest of most or our lives for guns.

Never sez, auto parts stores has it, in very small amounts up to a pint can.

Wont sling off, good to ever 1000*F, and has other uses as well.

I use Mobil 28 grease. We used to use it on our jet and I ended up with a little bit. It's a red grease that supposedly won't freeze at high altitudes and low temps. I little goes a long way. Don't know where to buy it though.

Anyone know of a place to pick up some TW25 around Knoxville?

I haven't seen it anywhere but I also haven't looked hard. I used to buy it on Cookeville at Outdoor Junction but they quit carrying it. I'd be interested to hear if anyone local has it, as well.

I have been using molybendum disulfide grease for a long while now. I buy it at Walmart for under $5 per grease gun tube. The grease is cheap enough that you can buy several types and try them.

Thanks Neil, I just found it in stock at Brownells. I need to order a few other things anyhow so I think I'll try it out.

I am gonna probably get slammed....but here goes.  MotorKote.  Yep.  MotorKote from your local truck stop. I use it in my lawn mower, truck, car, and always have a little left over in the bottle. Enough to do every gun I own.  It's amazing stuff.  Don't want to try it?  Ok....but it's an amazing product.  I drive a Dodge Diesel.  I add it to my oil. It makes a difference, a BIG difference.  Guns?  I add some to the rails and other areas just like gun oil, let it soak and wipe it off. It's good stuff and left over from oil changes. (FREE)
