Had this waiting on me today!

Recommended Posts

I got home from work this evening and this is what I had waiting on me. Two Remington Bucket O' Bullets. Not the greatest ammo but considering I am one of those people that got caught with their pants down when it came to .22 ammo I'm pretty happy. Going to be a good weekend. Besides My Remington rifles seem to like anything. I can't say enough about Cabela's fast shipping. I ordered it on Monday afternoon and it arrives Thursday evening.

Sorry, didn't realize I was bragging. Just happy to get any kind of .22 ammo. Not much to be had out there. All three of my .22's feed it just fine. This also means I get to head out to my dad's property  with my 10 and 13 year old sons and do some plinking. Thats going to do us quite a few weekends. What more could a father ask for? Spending some good quality time with his sons out on the range plinking bottles and can. And, at the end of the day,not much money out of my pocket to do it with. So yes, I guess I am bragging. Matter of fact, bragging pretty hard.

Just stirring the pot a little.. I helped a friend last week acquire about 1000 rounds for the same intent and purpose you stated. He was needing ammo for his kids to shoot.. And yes I agree, not much out there so get what you can when you can get it... Again just stirring the pot a little.. But save them buckets, if the current administration gets their way that may be all any of us have.. Empty box's with the word ammo on them... In all honesty, I was tickled to death when he gave me 250 rounds in return for helping him out...
