DHS at Hamilton Place?

So I just passed by the Hamilton Place Mall and sitting in the parking lot was (what seemed to me) an odd sight. There were two busses parked next to each other, one was a standard sized tour bus, mostly white with a very generic abstract design along the side. Nothing that stood out on it's own. But next to it was a larger bus, solid white with no markings at all. Next to it was a white SUV, tinted windows and also solid white with no markings. The larger bus and the SUV looked like a matched set. There was at least one more vehicle parked over on the other end, I didn't get a good look at it but it seemed to fit in with the group. I managed to see at least two people standing out next to the vehicles talking, but really couldn't make out any more details as I was driving away from their location.

 

Individually they probably wouldn't cause anyone to raise an eyebrow, but seeing them all sitting there together like that, well it just looked out of place. I was wondering if anyone happened to see them also?

i was just in that area about an hour ago, didnt see anything though. Maybe just a group of some kind doing some mall shopping? Celebrity? who knows

It didn't look like a church group kind of convoy... celebrity maybe.

I've noticed some NOAA SUVs around and a homeland security SUV lately around the harrison area.

Umm, well I can't say I got that good of a look at that particular bus lol. I suppose that's plausable though.

Why are we automatically assuming that white SUVs and a tour bus are DHS? Are they the only ones in the entire US that can acquire them now?

Oh no so my friend who has the white suv is DHS? OH NOES!!

 

Seriously, why is the knee jerk reaction to think any unmarked car now DHS? It could just be the local cops in their normal unmarked suv guarding some celebrity.

This makes me think of all the times I drove across country in white gov vehicles and made innocuous stops for fuel, lodging and food.  I musta just been freaking people out thinking I was going to put them in rail cars and ship them off to FEMA camps.

He's looking in the wrong place.  I've seen Airwolf...    Look off the nose of the F-86.
