Nice. Went there on vacation about 4 years ago. If you're into wildlife and nature and all that, I recommend going to Custer State Park. They have various wildlife including buffalo free roaming.

Custer park is pretty boring out where it actually took place..the museum is the interesting place...

We went out there to S.Dakota a couple of years ago. There are lots of places to go and things to see.

As previously mentioned, S. Dakota's Custer St. Pk. is great for seeing a lot of buffalo. The Little Big Horn battlefield, Custer's Last Stand, is two state lines away from there up into Montana.

Other sights worth seeing...

Since you've visited Mt Rushmore, you might want to have a look at the Crazy Horse Memorial too. It's just a few miles away from Rushmore.

There is a scenic Badlands loop road. You'll see a lot of signs for Wall Drug Store. Biggest drug store/tourist trap you'll see..

Spearfish Canyon on the west side of Deadwood is very pretty.

Over into Wyoming, you can see Devil's Tower. Wow is a pretty good description of how I felt about seeing it rise up out of the ground. You might remember it from "Close Encounters of the Third Kind."
