This may not be a big thing but I intend to continue shaving.  I've used a mug and shaving soap for years, not because I have some great fear about aerosols hurting the ozone layer or anything but because I don't see the point of the expense. The one thing that has always been a problem is keeping the soap  stuck in the cup. I  had bought a tube of palmolive shaving soap in a tube for a vacation trip and never used it again untill I found  it a few weeks ago. I squeezed some under the soap and then filled the mug with the rest of it.  The next day it had hardened and stuck the soap in  well but the really good thing is that it makes a much better lather and makes the razor slide nicely.
