National Preppers and Survivalist Expo Nashville March 16th & 17th

Anybody heard about the NPS Expo in Nashville this weekend? Saturday and Sunday next to the gun show at the fairgrounds. Gonna be lots of preparedness vendors and manufacturers there to talk about and sell products.  16 demonstrations/speakers each day. And Doomsday Preppers will be doing a casting call for all those folks who want to tell the world how and where you plan to survive.

Had my tickets for months, as well. Curiously, they are free. My first thought was, what a wonderful way to get all of us together. Expect DHS out in force with facial recognition scanning in effect.

I was there and did not see any facial recognitions scanners, but the last thing I remember between 2 and 3 pm was a guy dressed in black asking me to look at his pen.

Show was good with a big crowd and lots of camping/ survival gear. Tons of manufacturers of very innovative tactical and survival stuff. Campfire pots that charge cell phones, solar generators, etc.

Hmmm, why bother with facial recognition scanning when they can just troll websites to identify potential threats? Lets be honest, if there was going to be a mass conspiracy to collect a database of prepper type individuals it could be done in an air conditioned office with a handful of analysts as opposed to a labor/manpower intensive effort to collect personalities at gun shows and prepper expos. If we're going to talk conspiracies let's at least have them be grounded in some sort of reality.
