FNP-45

I finally got to the range to shoot my new FNP-45. Man is it sweet! I put 250 rounds of UMC ball through it with 0 jams. Like everyone else claims it is a soft shooting .45.

It came with (3) 14 round magazines, an extra flat backstrap and this monstrosity of a storage case.

Overall, I like it.:squint:

Didn't have any discomfort issues with the grip on mine... it is very grippy though, leaves a meat-tenderizer'esque pattern on the palm of my strong-hand, but I prefer sharp checkering. I could see where sensitive hands might not take to it well... my wife hated it.

Have you seen any with the Safety and Decocker ability yet? Mine just has the Decocker, and I would upgrade (either with parts or another gun) for sure. The FN rep I talked to said that they didn't have a conversion available, back when I got it, but I'm hoping that I don't have to trade this gun off to get what I want.

How did the grip feel when you were shooting it? I've heard some tales that it's a little too "rough".

Can't be any worse than the new XDm... You guys seen this thing. It looks like cheese grater! Hurts me just to look at it.

Congrat's either way on the FNP. I have the FNP40 and it is a dream to shoot!
