WHICH BI-POD IS BEST?

I bought a lnib FNAR 308 20" heavy fluted barrel, heavy though. What is best bi-pod for the money that attaches to front sling swivel? Also should one get the bi-pod that rotates around swivel? What height range 6-9" or 9-13"? I have priced Harris bi-pods on Midway website, but don't know much about bi-pods. I plan on shooting off bench and also prone.

A little advice from avid users would be appreciated.

thanks

I prefer Atlas bipods, but i don't think they make one to attach directly to a sling swivel stud.  However, there are some inexpensive adapters out there to give you pic rail to mount the Atlas.  The only problem with Atlas bipods is that they cost 2 to 3 times as much as a Harris.  Harris bipods are nice, as well.  Just not as versatile as the Atlas.  The 6-9" models should be more than enough for prone and bench shooting.  That is what I have, and it works just fine.

i have an atlas bipod BT10-LW17 on my precision rifle.  While i feel they take longer to setup than the harris, they feel more secure plus they allow movement in several directions including left and right movements plus canting left or right side.

I'll limited on funds having to buy 308 ammo at today's prices. I don't know if an Atlas is worth 2-3 times the price of a Harris if they both perform well.

I'm trying to accumulate components for reloading 308, but they are scarce too.

I have the Harris notch leg swivel on my guns. I like the 9-13 size. I shot an Atlas on a .338 Barrett and do like it better but not sure it is better enough to justify the extra cost if on a budget. Whatever you get go with notched legs and swivel. Those are well worth the cash.
