I've always thought that it should be madatory for all representatives to be there.  It's there job if you and i decided not to show up at work to go to a fundraiser what would happen.

^^^What he said. That was a bad bill that didn't protect the gunowner from being fired. IMO it was useless. Even so Joe made a bad choice in my mind.

This needs to be brought up at election time as a reminder. Joe's priorities don't match mine and he needs to forget about higher office if he's not commited enough to the current one. We already have too many of that type of politician in office.

Actually, it's still a good bill for another set of people...students with handgun carry permits. In fact, it's a great bill for them because it would make it fully legal for them to keep a gun in their car. That is REALLY good news for them and affects alot of people. Yeah, it doesn't do what it's called, but that's a big upside for a lot of people.
