Lonewolf Glock Caliber conversion kit. Anyone try it?

Thinking of converting my G23 to a 9mm using the Lonewolf 9mm barrel conversion kit. Their own propaganda doesn't sound so promising? Has anyone had any first hand experience ?

MIne is more accurate  than the factory g23 barrel worth the money. Just make sure you use 9mm mags.

all i do is drop in the 9mm barrel and use 9mm mags.  never had any problems. it just shoots.

Same here.  I have one for my 23 and one for my 22.  Both work perfectly.

had a gen 3 22 RTF2 with LW 9mm barrel, and it was a dream to shoot. LW produces some great stuff. Thinking of getting a G20 complete slide from them and drop it on my G21 frame

Btw - what type of round is everyone shooting? I hear hat you have o shoot the 147g bullets to get the pressure to operate heavier slide. Anyone care to comment about bullet size? Has anyone had issues with 115g ammo?

Here's what LW had to say. Shouldnt be a problem. I'm looking for a barrel and mags, too.

Biggest problem you'll run into is that the standard length barrels have been backordered since december...i paid for one 2 weeks ago and still have heard nothing (its for my friends G23).

 

My personal g23 conversion has been flawless like the others said just buy the 9mm mags.

I have a 23 with the LW 9mm conversion barrel.  My load is a 124 cast bullet over 4 grs. HP-38.  A very light load that works perfectly in my 9/40.  Issues I have had are not related to hardware or ammo. LOL

 

Using .40 mags is a hit or miss.  Better to use 9mm mags.
