I have yet to see any 9mm since December. I have seen everything else at one point or another. My 9mm's have gotten cob webbs from sitting so long. I never had a reason to reload 9mm because it was so cheap. I only started reloading 40 because I was getting so much free brass. Like someone else pointed out, 9mm has risen in price. I went into GT Distributors and saw a sign for steel case 9mm for something like 100 rounds for $34.99. I said I would have bought it if it were brass case, the associate said it is all gone. Their cheapest brass case 40s&w was only 16.99/50. Edited March 9, 2013 by Patton

The Glock 19 is almost the perfect first gun, or carry gun.

 

I love mine. It is the right size, the right capacity, plenty of goodies for it, it is one of the most popular guns in the USofA for a reason. You will be able to find any kind of holster your mind can imagine. 

 

And... 9mm is cheaper, higher capacity in the same size, less recoil and for most intents and purposes, with modern bullets, just as effective as .40S&W.
