I was getting ready to grab one, but some reviews said the stitching is weak and will tear very easily.

I have mine loaded pretty heavy and I put guns in it to go to the range and it hasnt had a problem but maybe in a very heavy use situation it would. cant really comment on that

5.11 RUSH bag knock off basically. I have the 5.11 bag and love it. I'm sure that pack is cheaper made, obviously, but dang for $30 bucks it'd make at least a decent camping bag or something.

Wonder where they are made? Regarless, that is an insane deal.

China.

They're just wrong, unless quality has gone south since I got mine.

I've been using one for at least two years, have molle attachments all over it, includes various emergency stuff always loaded, water bottle pouch, etc.  Have water bladder inside, but don't use it, rely on the bottle in side molle pouch. There's even a smaller pouch attached to the backside of the bottle pouch, which sticks out to the front when shouldered, for immediate access to small stuff like Sansa, eyeglasses, whatnot.

Walk 8 mile round trip to Y with it 2-3 times per week. Also haul groceries 2.5 mile round trip quite a bit, have it loaded up to around 50 lbs total frequently. Been rain drenched, sweat drenched, sun drenched,  gets crammed into small lockers, etc.

Haven't had the first problem.

My sons use them for school book bags. That means they use them everyday through the school year with a ton of books in them. They are holding up GREAT! Way better than I thought they would. Both have 3 years of use on them.

I have only replaced one buckle... that was because he closed the truck door on it and busted the buckle. Bought another buckle at JoAnns fabric shop for $3.00 bucks and it's doing fine.

They show wear, and one has a very small hole just now starting to show in the corner from the edge of a book repeatedly poking it. Nothing major at all. They are very rough on them. They drag 'em, throw 'em and in the summer they use them for playing in the woods.

I don't think you can find a better bag for the price.

Which water bottle holder is that? I've been looking for a good one!

I had one of these bags for a short period of time. I sold it to a member here on TGO to upgrade to Maxpedition.

There was absolutely nothing wrong with the bag. I regret selling it after seeing this thread.

I got it from CTD, part of their "ModGear" line:

Actually made by Condor:

It's really aces, though. I've got a tall 34 ozflat top bottle in there, has extra zip pocket, and molle on it. I I mentioned, I  have an additional small molle pouch attached to side away from camera, too.

Ive had and regularly used mine for over 4 years: a 10 month police academy, lots of air travel, 3 x 7-mile back country camping trips, and 4 college semesters. Wash it and it looks like the day I got it as a gift. I dont know how it could have bad reviews, thats ridiculous!

I had 2 of them. The first one had stitching problems and one of the straps came loose at the top where it attached to the bag. I didn't ever carry much in the bag at all. I think it lasted maybe 5-6 months. The second one I haven't bothered loading much in it b/c I know it'll be weak. I wouldn't buy another one.
