What is a fair price to pay for a spam can of 600 rounds of .30 Carbine?

I'm looking to buy some ammo for my M1 and was wondering what a fair price to pay for a spam can would be. The CMP doesn't have any in currently so I can't use them as a test.

I will give you the same answer I get every time I ask what is a fair price.  Whatever you are willing to pay.

I am pretty sure I saw some 2 shows ago for around $230 for 500 rounds. I would say that would be a fair price right now. When CMP had it, they were getting $215 after shipping.

50 cents a round and $20-$30 for the mag.

I'd wave three bills under his nose and see what happened.

That's what I was paying before. I waved three and nothing happened, said he had been offered more.

Yes, on bandoliers if I remember correctly.

That stuff has not been less than $.60-.75/round for years.
