Air marshals carry automatic .357 SIG Sauer pistols with a 12-round cartridge. The bullets are "hollow-points"and expand on entering a body

they do not carry frangible ammo . Frangible bullets are primarily used in training exercises to reduce lead hazards on firing ranges. not recommended defense carry do a Google search on them.

If you own or are considering the LCP, then there are only two real contenders for a pocket sized pistol that is chambered in a true service caliber. The Rohrbaugh R9, and the Kahr PM9. The Rohrbaugh is the smaller of the two, has poor sights, easily the most expensive, does not have a slide lock lever, and requires the most maintenance. The Kahr PM9 is only slightly larger, has real dovetailed sights, and has a slide lock lever.

My PM9 has been exceptionally reliable, is extremely accurate for its size, and weighs only 15 oz. I have really enjoyed my PM9, and can easily recommend it. The G26 and G27 are much thicker than the PM9, but they hold more ammo, and are not really pants pocket pistols. The PM9 does disappear in a trouser pocket.

The Kahr CW9 is what I have on my side every day.

Same here. Highly recommend it.

I got my son an M&P Compact 9 for his 21st birthday this year. It's a heck of a gun, very concealable.

I carry a Glock 27 (40 cal) and am very happy with it. Accurate little pistol and easy to conceal.

There are so many to choose from, just check out as many as you can.
