The pics below are little of what was done today. I went shooting with reed1285, I met him after an ammo trade not too long ago and we kept in touch and decided to go shooting.

Well the trip started around 10:30 finally got to the place to shoot around 11:30 and we were there till around 6:30. We plinked, ran drills and burned through a lot of ammo!

couple of thingsI learned:
2 grown men will laugh like kids at clays exploding at 200 yards with a Remington 700 .308.

the s&w 15-22 is an awesome rifle, its very accurate and fun! (reed is more than likely make a purchase with out the wife's consent and get one) hope she isn't on TGO...

golf balls will fly very far when hit with a 5.56 or 7.62x39.

an m855 is true to its designation and will go through the metal post for a clay pigeon holder (also learned those clay pigeon holders are very resilient). m855s will also go through a golf ball (if you can find the golf ball afterwards)

aguilla super extra sub Sonics will cycle in a ruger mark3 22/45 and an m&p 15-22 no matter what sgammo.com says (and they are more accurate than bulk cci blazer)

the Sgm glock 50 round drum does work as well as Sturmgewehre reviewed it to be.

always were sunscreen even in winter...... red necks and faces I'm wearing a hat next time.

your on the fly design for a cheap target stand will not always hold up to first contact with the enemy that is yourself :p

always bring a garbage a bag !

a converted s12 is something everyone should shoot I had a blast with that!

I also learned sometimes you just have to dent your ammo stash to de stress from daily grind, the politics, and to seal a new friendship. Also anyone that can shoot your zero is a good friend to have.

yes a great day it was! like he said this is not all that we shot, we got tired of picking up empties after about 15 or 20 mns lol. Best Monday ive had in a long time!

 

and yes, you had better keep that m&p 15-22 far away from me! you were lucky that I let you go home with it lol. ditto on everything else too!!
