Truck gun rack

Spots

Recommended Posts

I know what your thinking, but its not that kind of gun rack. I just bought a Dodge Dakota 4x4 and I am looking for a gun rack that will mount to the back wall of the cab behind the back seats. It only needs to hold one rifle' and I would prefer it be completely out of sight with the bucket seats back in normal postions. If anyone has seen anything like this let me know. Thanks

Could you take one of the old style window racks and simply mount it beneath the window? When I bought my truck used, it had one mounted inside the rear window. I took it out, and it looked like it could be attached lower if you wanted to.

I had one once that I think would be  just what you are looking for.  It was actually an organizer that had several pockets for tools, duct tape, maps, flashlights, you know all of the stuff that you should carry in a truck.  It was made of vinyl and had a sleeve built into it for a long gun.  Here's a pic sorry it's so small.

I had one of those in a former truck years ago. It worked great. I forgot all about them.

These are made for the roof of the cab.

Looks like it might mount behind the seat.

Had one of these once as well. It will ruin a wood stock if a gun is kept in it long term. Also rattles.
