....Magiccarpetrides is definitely the guy to talk to, if you don't mind traveling to his dealership. I had Mom call and inquire about the Jeep, and it turns out that it is very affordable, even for a teenager like me. Well, once I finally remember all the info for two people for most of the applications for jobs.

If anyone needs a good car at an affordable price, he will get you all set up!

All you have to do is dangle a sig on a string on a pole in front of his face and he'll do anything. :)

The price and downpayment for the 2000 Jeep Cherokee sport is even better than a '98 Camry (with 169k miles on it), and I dare say what you lose in gas mileage you regain in capability and ruggedness. Not to mention being a whole 2 years newer, and it was a good $1000 less than the Camry when we bought it.

Expect my future business, if your prices and service stay the same.

I'll empty my PM box of the older messages.

I would bet that the Jeep will get better MPG then the high millage Camery! Not to mention the inline 6 will last a whole lot longer then the Camry which save you money in the long run.

So been cruising for chicks yet :koolaid:

Haven't bought it yet, just getting all the info. I'm already excited to get it, once I find out the contact information for my two people and/or talk to Dotsun.

I'm stuck with Walmart, Foodlion, or Fast Food joints like Taco Bell. I might be able ot land a few mowing jobs around, though my entire street is mowed by my neighbors so they get a break in their rent.

Grocery stores pay good! Well they dont pay good but tips do!

I remember working for Bi Lo and walking out with as much as 100 dollars a night in tips on top of my 5.20 an hour. But that money doesn't come easy. Most people tips a dollar, maybe two.So figure you carry out 125 buggies to get that 100 bucks.Allot of hard work but it pays great especially for a first job as a teenager!

That's if anyone still tips. Or ever asks to have their bags carried out, at least at food lion.

Everyone is so stingy nowadays except the people on this board.

I had a chance for a $6-9+tips restaurant job, but that blew out because a family friend was supposed to take us all down to Florida for a week but never did, so Mom wouldn't let me get an application at the time while we were waiting. So now, the managers there think I'm a lazy procrastinator. Which I am before 8AM, unless you give me coffee.

I just need to get the addresses for the two references at the moment, so I can apply correctly.
