Now this is just ridiculous!

Well for about a month + one could still get all the 12gauge birdshot they wanted. Then everything else stayed dry and all the 12g went away, now all you can find is 20g. Pretty soon the 20g will be gone.

The same thing is happening with rifle rounds. Considering how many people have 30-30s tucked away for deer season, quite frankly I'm surprised its taken this long.

Probably due to the sequester. I know very few who own, and almost noone who reloads for the 30 Carbine. Also, it isn't deer season, so I'm at a loss as to why nobody has flatpoint .308 bullets.

I loved loading .30 carbine. Found a load that shot great, and was about 1/2 the cost of factory stuff.

That's very easy to answer...because you need them.   It's kinda like that special tool you have laying around the garage and you keep bumping into it until the one day you need to use it and it's no where to be found.  :)

Probably isn't because everyone is now buying it....more likely that manufacturers just aren't making it.

They are all tooled up for the military cartridges 24/7 and everything else is running dry.

This is the real reason. No conspiracy.
