I would like a revolver for pocket carry and am curious if anyone knows of a nice revolver chambered in 9mm that fits the bill?

The S&W 940 was discontinued. There are not many choices for a 9mm revolver. The Taurus is the only one I can think of that currently being sold by a few places. I would double check, because I could be wrong.

I believe I recall seeing a few SP101's in 9mm

Yes, that's true. I was just trying to come up with something a bit newer. I don't believe any 9mm revolvers are being produced today, so finding one may not be as easy as more popular calibers.

Other than the Taurus, you'll probably be paying $600 + for a Ruger or Smith, if you can find one.

Didn't even know they had revolvers in 9mm. Has S&W made any?

Yes, the S&W 940. Not very easy to find, and if you do, it won't be cheap.

Ditto on the Ruger sp101, all the ones I've seen are at collector prices.

The last time I was at Guns & Leather they had a 9mm revolver. Don't remember the mke but it would be worth a phone call.

I carry a Taurus 905. It's a snub nose DAO with a bobbed hammer, 5-shot, and uses moonclips. I got it at Eastside Gun Shop about a year ago. It's a little smaller and a little heavier than my wife's 642. The Taurus is a little finnicky about ammo, If the head of the ammo is a little thick, the moonclip pushes it back until it touches the frame. It's no problem with Winchester or Federal. It shoots well. I practice with it every couple of weeks, some close range point shooting then out to seven yards, groups well if I do my job. It gets carried in a Mika pocket holster and is in my pocket now. Great little gun, good luck finding one.
