I got this from their facebook page. Sell like hell 'til they make us leave...

We are proud to announce that within a matter of days we will be going live with a new program. Due to a bill currently moving through the Colorado legislature, there is the possibility that Colorado residents' ability to purchase standard capacity magazines will soon be infringed. Before that happens, and Magpul is forced to leave the state in order to keep to our principles, we will be doing our best to get standard capacity PMAGs into the hands of any Colorado resident that wants them.

Verified Colorado residents will be able to purchase up to ten (10) standard capacity AR/M4 magazines directly from Magpul, and will be given immediate flat-rate $5 shipping, bypassing our current order queue.

Our customers outside of Colorado, please know that our PMAG production will continue at an ever-increasing rate until we do relocate, shipments to our distributors in other states will continue, and that we do not expect relocation to significantly impact PMAG production. We are also aware that Colorado is not the only state with existing or pending magazine capacity restrictions; we are working on programs for other affected states as well.

Full details and instructions will be announced when we are able to go live; please watch here for the coming announcement.

Nice way to thumb your nose at the legislature.

I would say they are using their middle finger for something.

Yes! Bravo to Magpul. As long as these decisions are made at the state level, the companies and residents in those states have a choice. When they force this crap down our throats on the federal level, no bueno.

You know, I don't see a reason to buy anything but pmags from now on. I've got a few Colt GI 20s&30s and I'll keep them, along with the three troys I've got, but from now on its magpul or I'll wait.

Same for stocks and foregrips, there is lots of good stuff out there but I'll stick with MOE from now on.

My AR has a Magpul stock, handguard, pistol grip, and the only 3 mags I own are P-mags. Truth is I bought all that stuff because it was "tacticool" and the hottest stuff on the internet. Now I'm proud as hell that my money went to support these guys. Like TrickyNicky, I will only buy P-mags.  I'll wait if I have to.Now I am considering outfitting my shotgun with the magpul furniture.

If i could find them in stock, I would buy some just to show my support.

As it is though, they are all I use.

Their statement is, up to 10 standard capacity magazines. For most of us we use the 30 rounders, which some people refer to as high capacity. So which ones are they offering to the CO residents?

I'd be willing to bet they mean 20 and 30 rounders. Anything the Nazis call "hi-cap"

If you notice Mag Pul refers to 30rd PMags as Standard capacity. I saw it in their statement the other day.

Probably an intentional attempt to downplay the hype. They are a smart bunch, I think

Hope this doesn't prolong my order. I've had 30 Magpul 7.62x51 Pmags on order since before Christmas. :\

If you lived in Colorado you'd feel a lot different about this.

My dad still lives in Colorado. I am going to see if he will get me some.

Lame.  Very, very lame.  Why not respect the spirit of what they're doing instead of pushing yourself to the front of the line?
