Hope everyone enjoys it tonight! It's been a good resource for me. I know this is a bit off topic, but some of you know I was coming down to NA IDPA to prep for the indoor nats. It paid off- had a great time in Springfield, took my class (ESR/SS) and placed 5th in the division (ESR). S&W is going to hold the first sanctioned bug match in November, so I might start seeing ya'll around October again. Thanks to all involved with NA for a great resource

Shooting was fun last night. Got to switch back to the K Frame and shoot some 38's! Right off the bat Stage one made me remember how much harder the more obscure targets are to hit. The dog targets were low and sideways, site picture was not the same! Stage two had some of the same elements, but it was Stage three that I enjoyed the most. What a GREAT simple drill to move in a box about 10 feet square and shoot from all moving directions. Also, with it being Limited you had to be extra careful as you couldn't make up the shot. It APPEARS incorporating moving into my dry-fire routine paid off with that being my "best" effort of the night.

Great time as always, thanks again Nashville Armory Staff (Travis and Dale) and as always David for putting in together.

Jim, thanks for the kind words.  Thanks to you and your wife for helping out, especially with cleanup at the end of the match.  I bet the range staff is appreciative as well.  I hope to see you in two weeks.

So when is the next one?  Is the schedule really just every other tues night, or is it like the 2nd and 4th tues of each month?  I hope to make it to the next one, Thanks  Brooks

Yep, second and fourth Tuesday of every month.  This upcoming match (the 12th) I've got some stages to help all the new shooters we're hosting learn the difference between tactical sequence and tactical priority.  There's also going to be some one-handed shooting and possible kneeling.
