Gun & Ammo Mfg. Refuse to Sell

I just saw on the news where 44 gun and ammo manufacturers are refusing to sell their products to any state government agency passing more restrictive gun laws.  California and other law inforcement had better take good care of their guns and conserve ammo for it might not be replaceable.   The commentator said that many more manufacturers are predicted to join these protectors of the 2nd Ammendment. I'm anxious to find out who these companies are so we will all can have an even better reason to buy from them.. California Highway Patrol are gonna look funny with their Nagant revolvers.

I wonder how many of these actually have government contracts. vs. those that do not.  I beleive gun/ammo companies that have gov. contracts may be less reluctant to make these statement out of fear.  That is why when I read about Beretta on another post, I thought that might mean something.  Now if Glock, Sig or Smith will do something like this, it may build something "real".

glock supplies sidearms to the top 3 largest police departments. NYC, Chicago, and LA, I would love to hear that they step up to the plate but I'm betting they will be silent on this.

As I recall from last year's Glock Book, Glock:  The Rise of Amercia's Gun, though government contracts pays the bills, it still pales in comparison to the civilian market.  So I am with you, if Glock would step out and reward its fan base with a tough stance, though they have a cult following, I am would imagine the cult following would be +1 to the 1,000,000 power.  Just my guess or wish!

I have a gssf coupon burning a hole in my pocket if they announced tomorrow I would be at the gun store!

At this point I think a significant message can be sent by the civilian market.  I personnally will pay close attention to the list and let it govern my purchases whenever possible.

I do hope the manufacturers do take this stand.  Realistically, the "all mighty Dollar" will prevent the states from having guns and ammo.  Someone will sell to them.

I believe our support is important at this point.
