Introducing the iScope

Scope adapter to use your iPhone to record what you see through your scope. I was really interested in getting one until I seen the price. It is a little more than I want to spend for a toy. But it would be cool for those who hunt.

Necessity is the mother of invention!  You have to love that.  No doubt someone will steal the idea, send it to china and return it selling for $19.99.

In two weeks, there will be a youtube vid showing you how to make one with PVC pipe, duct tape and superglue.  I still love the invention.  They say you come up with 4 ideas everyday that if you put one to paper you'd become a millionaire.   Hmmmm

I saw one of these at cabelas in St. Louis when I was out there recently. It looked really cool, and the guy behind the counter said it worked pretty well. I'm still on a droid phone, but I might get one if I ever convert to IPhone.

ETA:
The one they had on display was setup on a spotting scope. That seemed to be a very useful application to view and/or record range sessions. Edited by Batman

They had a booth at the NWTF show in Nashville a couple of weeks ago.  I started a thread about it in Hunting/Fishing section.  They were selling them for $99 at the show.  They several attached to rifle scopes, spotting scopes and binoculars that you could play with.  It is really pretty cool.  It is the best adapter for the iphone that I have used.
