Scored a pretty decent purchase

Atleast I think it was a good buy. Just got home from picking up 30 factory sealed Magpul Pmag 30 rd magazines.

All for $750.

Done searching for mags for the AR. For a while anyhow.

Thank you again to the seller. I don't think he is a current member, but I told him about the site and hope he joins. Seems like a real squared away guy.

25 a pop is not bad for these times. You could have paid less, but good luck finding that many elsewhere. You also could have spent much more, especially factoring in shipping for one or two here or there or driving all over the place to try and find one or two or even none locally.

Your definitely set for awhile anyway.

Yeah, that doesn't really seem like a good buy to me, since I was paying ~$10 a pop when buying in bulk.

But the way things are right now, I guess it could have been a lot worse.

It depends on what the market does and whether or not they are banned in the future. If the market gets back to where it was a few months ago, you'll have paid about double. If they are banned, you'll be glad you paid double.

Time will tell.................

The only thing causing them to be high right now is the backorder. I'd be selling them ASAP before the price drops

I've never bought pmags, only emags but that seems like a pretty decent price to me even before the current craziness.

Frankly, so long as you have a use for them and can afford to make the purchase I'm not sure the price is really a big issue. ;)

I won't be buying them for that price. Glad for what I already have.
It would take a lot of inflation to see them that expensive.

Was he from Gordonsville?

Well, I do appreciate all the input. I thought a had a better than good buy. Live and learn. Though I'm still happy with having 30 mags for myself (15 per AR).

Now if that darn SIg M400 SRP with Prismatic scope would just show up at my Walmart!!  lol

it's hard making any kind of deal right now. a guy on armslist wants $615 for a 1022 takedown and thinks all of hus ammo and everything he has is gold. Congrats on the mags.

There's nothing difficult about it. He listed a laundry list of items for trade/sale, I responded with prices I was willing to pay for several items, he agreed to all but one price. I have since messaged to set up a time to pick up or arrange payment and shipping. It's been nothing but a runaround, so I gave up. Edited by TripleDigitRide
