Its the new stock kit Barrett started making for them, you dont have to disassemble your 10/22 or anything, the whole gun just drops in...

haha i know.  The gun shop that sold it to me accidentally sent me their invoice from Barrett.  Dealer price on the  Barrett was $7606 and most sell them for $8600 to $9,000. They make pretty good money off them.  I bought mine out of state to avoid the TN sales tax, but it was still a big investment.  Always wanted one and thought I'd get one now before a potential ban in the future.  Now i just need to find some local places that I can shoot this at.  Anybody have some land that is setup to shoot .50 bmg?

I love it wish I had that kind of distance at my place. You could come over and we would play with your toys,  :woohoo:  unfortunately I only get about 100 yards. Now that would be throwing away a fiver. :ugh:
