The first link is the actual PDF to the translated document.  This document was written in the summer of 2011.

What I found interesting about their strategy was the part about changing American public opinion on the usage of drones, thereby neutralizing the use of them in Yemen.  Funny, it seems their tactic is working, and our own dissent internally regarding the use of drones abroad is playing into the enemy's overall strategy.  Kinda like how the communists won Vietnam by infiltrating our colleges on the homefront while our troops won every major engagement on the battlefield.

interesting document, and I would hope the people in charge of the drone programs have fixed the issue of a $10mil drone being able to be taken out by a $2500 piece of old russian equipment.

Comparable to our hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of trained rifleman who puts down a haj, no?
