I got mine yesterday. All matching 1943 Izzy in a postwar M44 stock. It has all kinds of stampings on it. Also has a interesting stock repair with laminate wood...I'll try and upload some pics

Never really had a desire for a Mosin, but seeing the M38 carbine version got me to thinking about one. Needless to say, they were sold out when I decided to try one. Maybe I'll run up on one sometime.

Had the same happen to me one time when meeting DrAlarms for something. He called me wondering where I was and I had forgotten I had changed over into a new day. Thankfully a nice guy and waited for the 15 mins it took me to get to him.  :up:

Mine came yesterday. 43 Izzy, post war 44 stock. Barrel is stamped with a 5 under the date.  Receiver is really rough on the finish and yes that is a ridge on the top in the center.  Underneath it looks even worse.  Buttplate and trigger guard are force matched.
