tnroadrunner is correct. we will be hosting Tom Givens at the McEwen Rod and Gun Club. I am really looking forward to the class. Hope to see some of you there.

What are the prerequisites ? Does Tom accept prior training from other providers ? or is this a deal where you have to have RangeMaster Pistol I-IV or whatever and nothing else can get you in ?

I highly recommend the class. I went through it a couple of years ago. Just this past monday, I went to the Regional LE Firearms Instructor conference held at Rangemaster. I enjoyed it so much, that I'm not only going to make it a point to attend more of his classes, I'm going to make sure to send all of my instructors there for additional skills development training....

Anything Mr. Givens puts on is worth the money.

He knows his stuff and is also a class act.

I wouldn't call Givens a "class act," but he certainly knows his stuff. If he teaches the class, it's definitely worth the price. He's a bit opinionated and vulgar, but he's also a hoot. When I took Combative Pistol back in February, his first words to us as he walked in on day two were: "All right, ya'll shut the f#%k up." My kind of guy...

A bit? ;)

He definitely doesn't pull any punches, which makes him my kind of guy too.

LOL...I must have caught him after going to church!

That was not my experience with him at all.

Thanks for the correction/info.

I enjoyed his Dynamic Marksmanship class. I'd take another class in a heart beat.
