Dem Congressman Says Women Should Use Whistle Instead of Gun to Defend Against Rape

As RedState reports, on Friday, Salazar argued against concealed carry on college campuses in favor of call boxes, whistles and “safe zones.” Why? Because you as a woman might “feel like you’re in trouble when you may actually not be” — better to head to the call box and let a man with a gun decide if the danger is real or not (if he shows up in time, that is).

Slowly turning one person away from them at a time.

"That strange man is following me." "Here take this whistle, it will protect you." Yeah because that's how it works.

Absolutely the same idiot.

The Dems don't want any of their potential voters hurt or killed when they commit violent crimes.  Gotta take care of the voter base.

How do people this profoundly stupid get elected? How do people this out of touch with reality dress themselves each day. Unbelievable!

Wonder the female members of His family has a whistle, or something else,

LIKE A FIREARM OR ARMED PROTECTION!

I have a compromise for Salazar. When facing an attacker, instead of blowing a whistle, blow their brains out. Leave a hole that whistles when the air blows through it.

I like the idea of 'safe zones'. I think we can agree that anywhere within 10 yards of a handgun could be a fairly safe zone.

And you all thought there was no room for compromise.

But I would bet he gets re-elected

Safe zone, eh? I'm going to call and suggest making everywhere a safe zone. I'm going to call it the No Rape Zone. Rape is not allowed anywhere in the No Rape Zone.

So simple a caveman could do it. Not rape, that is.

And they actually believe their ideas will work....So sad.

Or even worse, they think that it's morally superior to allow yourself to be a victim rather than use a weapon to defend yourself.  Notice they aren't talking pepper spray, Tasers, batons, or any object used as a defensive weapon.  They are talking about passive efforts.
