Ok, I am impressed. 

 

I have no sound --- is he shooting mosin ammo in some sort of semi-auto at the start?  What was it?

 

I think I would just order a case of the berdan primers, which are a little pricy but time = $

Looked like an AK to me at the first. To much time on his hands for me. Unsafe, putting copper on a grinding wheel.

The rifle is a PSL if you mean the one beginning at 0:16, and yes it eats Mosin food.

It's my understanding that the type and size of primers used in the 54r is not available in the US, therefore the need for the conversion on these cases.  I agree with Mr. David, better to stick with the boxer primed stuff.

i reload every round of 762x54 r i shoot i bought norma brass years ago . as of late i have bought wolf gold or privi and reloaded that as it is boxer primed
