Nullify Federal Gun Laws in TN - Only 6 Signatures Short

Just got this in Email...

We now have 1,094 signatures on our petition and we are only 6 short of 1,100. Please encourage your friends who are concerned about their 2nd Amendment rights to join us in signing this petition.

Senate Bill 250 (SB0250), the 2nd Amendment Preservation Act, was introduced by Tennessee State Senator Mae Beavers to stop federal gun restrictions within the State. It would nullify federal attempts to “ban, regulate, or restrict…ownership, transfer, possession, or manufacture of a firearm, a firearm accessory, or ammunition” within the State of Tennessee.

The bill has been scheduled for a public hearing and potential vote in the Senate Judiciary Committee on Tuesday, February 19. (3pm Central, tentatively) Your support and action is needed right now to help move this legislation forward.

Hmm, looks like the petition keeps expanding as it reaches each goal. O-well, keep passing it around, all!

Might as well just go to Organizing for America if you expect that petition to mean anything. I wouldn't put my name on anything

associated with that place. Do some homework. You'd be surprised, sometimes.

Mae Beaver's bill exempted those things from her bill, a while back.

Seems odd to me you have to provide your address to put your name on that petition, hell in most of the U.S. you don't need that to vote in an election.
