AND.....If you look up Militia in any dictionary, the definition will always reference that a militia is made up of citizens and are considered to be non professional soldiers and NOT members of the armed forces.

I am impressed. I usually have shied away from Penn and Teller. Maybe I've misjudged them.

They are pretty awesome. I find that there are few points they make I disagree with. Although, their episode on fitness was not done well or scientifically at all, but maybe they were running out of ideas to debunk. Oh, and their specials on religion are pretty offensive.

Penn and Glen Beck are friends and usually have talks about religion. Penn is a pretty good argument for most anything.

He is not against religion, just doesn't fit him in his current understanding. I can accept that without agreeing with him. One

thing about Penn is he is usually consistent. Makes good arguments.

Yes. I guess I can be pretty prudish at times. I have been mildly to major-leage po'd at some of their material. Guess I just happened to see only the issues i disliked.

He makes good arguments indeed, but when it comes to religion he goes out of his way to be condescending and offensive. I don't much like those tactics. Any one religion can look at another and find the other to be silly, but you have to respect another's religious belief enough not to belittle it; unless it'sthe Westboro Baptist Church.

He goes out of his way to be offensive on all subjects. I like the tactic. If I find myself being offended it's usually because I am emotionally invested and need to take a step back and analyze the subject more objectively. It has happened on more than one occasion.

I don't get offended when someone makes a good point, even if it makes my side look silly. I get offended when a person is just being a dick for the sake of it. That isn't a matter of disagreement, it is a matter of respect. I can find something offensive even if I wholeheartedly agree with the sentiment.

I can dig it.

On the topic of respect...how is it any different than the way people on this forum go on and on about stupid libtards? I'm not liberal but my mother is. Kinda hard not to have an emotional response when a group of my peers finds the need to call my mother a stupid, godless, commie at every turn.

I've seen a few threads on respect lately. I found them...interesting.

Very interesting read. Must say I enjoyed it. Hope he lets us know how the next flight and security check goes.

I think that happened a few years ago when they started the nut grabbin'. I'm guessing Vegas has a pretty good TSA crew. They never gave me any crap. It's real easy to grab the wrong nuts in that airport... as easy as Nashville.

I'm not really sure P$T mean it when they are doing their comedy routines. I haven't heard much of them doing serious trashing,

though. I take them with a grain of salt, kinda like that so-called news anchor on the Comedy Channel, who I usually don't pay any

attention to.

I'd say that lately in Nashville...you don't know what you've grabbed til you unwrap it.
