Memphis, Fathers Day Get Together

Well, since I mentioned this in the Crime Statistics thread I thought I would actually start one.

How about a TGO get together and shoot in Memphis on Fathers Day. That is a day when us Dad's get to choose what WE want to do. I usually try to go to the range on that day.

What do you think?

Actually, how about making it a Regional thing, get all the TGO members in their respective areas to get together and have a shoot.

Sounds good saints, but it will be kind of hard for some of us who have kids that dont live with them. In other words, I will have to travel 70 miles to see my kids on fathers day unless its my weekend to have them! Just putting that thought in your head!

Well, we could say the next weekend, but as was said in another thread about get togethers, any day you pick won't work for some one. I was going with Fathers day because I figured it is a day that DAD gets to do what HE wants, and those that aren't married or don't have children, well, they can do what they want when she wants it.

Crap, it will be kind of hard for me too, we will be in Florida and getting back Saturday the 16th. Not sure If I will be able to get a hall pass that day........it's father's day right, as long as it is not the weekend before I will do what I can to make it!

Okay, since so far I am the only one definitely able to make it that weekend, lets make it the next. I will reserve my hall pass until then. That would be Sunday June 24th.

Guys, I would really like to join you for a shoot but unfortunately I sleep during the day because I work grave shift hours. If ya'll decide on a possible night shoot someday, maybe with dinner at the range restaurant before or after we shoot, I'm in. I am available about any time at night due to after being married for 28 yrs., I traded my ex-wife in on my Mossburg Shotgun.

Yes I am a free man once again (for 5 yrs. now), and enjoying every minute of it.
