I guess the boycott that CTD caused on themselves, hurt a lot worse than they thought for them to donate $100k out of the blue to SAF. I still won't spend another penny with them, because this just reinforces they are going back and forth... They continue to be exploitive of whichever ways the wind is blowing.

You can tell by the verbiage that they are afraid to stand up for themselves, by using LaRue & Olympic in their own media releases.

And this only applies to "modern sporting rifles". They will continue to sell everything else to the enemy. F-them. I don't care what kind of deals they may have on any particular item, I don't buy from them...PERIOD. Unless someone on here posts a laughable link of theirs, I don't even go to their site.

They showed where their loyalty lies as an American business the gun community has supported. A zebra doesn't change its stripes over night unless the lion is taking some hide off of it.

I've done a lot of business with them and to this day still get one of their fliers every other week. Even after sending them a nasty email and requesting they remove me from their database as a former customer.

I'm just one little peon who doesn't put a dent in their bottom line but, there's a bunch of us little pip squeaks and collectively we appear to be getting noticed.

As far as I'm concerned, they'll have to do much more to repair the damage they stirred up before I'll even consider spending a penny with them. In the mean time, I'll continue to express my disgust with them to whom will listen.

So now they are price gouging too? That is freaking ridiculous. They will never get another dime from me.

They've been gouging. The bull $hit started before the bodies at Samdy Hook were even cold. Much like the gun grabbers, they won't let any tragedy go to waste.

The thing is I expect crap like that from the grabbers, I would have liked to have thought that the gun industry was above it.

CTD has raised their prices every time there was a crisis. They did it in 2004 when the AWB sunsetted, they did it in 2008 after the election and again in 2012 in response to the election and Sandy Hook. And if there is one company the gun community doesn't need help from it is CTD.

The owner is unscrupulous and not just for raising prices. He has actively tried to steal from people.

Knowing CTD's track record, I think the sell only in states where legal for civvies is 25% right thing/good PR and 75% we don't wanna be sued for selling a banned item to someone who can't possess it.
